About The San Diego Delta Foundation
Building stronger communities through leadership, education, service, and empowerment since 2000.
Founded in 1999 and incorporated in 2000, the San Diego Delta Foundation is a nonprofit charitable organization established by professional African American women committed to improving the quality of life within the San Diego community.
Through leadership development, educational initiatives, health awareness programs, mentorship, and community engagement, the Foundation continues to create opportunities that empower young women and strengthen future generations.
One of the Foundation’s signature initiatives, the Leadership Development Intern Program, provides young African American women with mentorship, academic enrichment, leadership experiences, and opportunities for personal growth through workshops, seminars, service projects, and role model partnerships
